prompt # 3…

Am I messy or neat, and does it matter to me ?

I am an organized, type A kind of gal who has messy spots in her den. =) I have way too many school books, thanks to being able to teach my foxling at home. I like to dust and keep things very straight, but due to lack of storage, I tend to have work papers strewn about. I love folding laundry, and make sure the clothes get put away shortly after they are finished drying. My bedroom stays very clean; the exception being my nightstand. It is a train wreck of a nightmare, and will never be neat and orderly, not if I owned nothing and it was alone in its own room. =)

I like to do the dishes after eating, so the kitchen is clean most of the time. I do not care too much about the level of messiness, but keep the house as dust free as possible. My foxling cleans her room once a week, and helps me daily with the chores so we never have a huge mess to contend with. I guess I like things clean and shiny… It makes me happy to smell lemon and lavender and incense, and I feel like I am being responsible, and passing that along to my daughter. If the President ever drops by, the only apology I will need to make is for the books everywhere, and that is not so bad, after all. =)
