supplies for the day…

DSCN0670 DSCN0671 DSCN0672

Today was a good day, if a very long one. I feel a bit under the weather, maudlin and achey… are you a giant fan of  Marie Antoinette ? If so, you will understand when I tell you that General Krottendorf stopped by today. =) Makes me feel better just saying that. At any rate, here are a few goodies for when you are just not feeling your normal, happy-girl self. I love this brand of spearmint tea, it is strong and not at all bitter. Shower tablets are a real indulgence; fizzy bath tabs that dissolve under the hot water, sending soothing clouds of essential oils to clear your rotting brain. =) No more Zombie head for this mumma ! Roll on essential oil blends from 21 Drops is a stocking treat I got this year; very soothing, and calms me down. ALWAYS a good thing. Last but not least, some basic jojoba oil mixed with lavender… ahh… that is good rubbed directly on the lower back and abdomen, and covered with a warmed buckwheat hull pad. After a few hours, I am beginning to feel human once more, well, almost…

My foxling and I quietly played around today and wrote in our respective journals together, it was sweet to just hang our with her. The Professor is ordering Chinese after our darling girl goes to bed, and is putting on sappy movies for us to watch together… could this day get any better ?! I hope you all have someone who can and will dote on you when life’s little aches and pains begin to drag you down. Have a cup of tea and a lovely night. =)

Yes, it was bad, but to talk about it in any form is really awful, you know ?! At least this way, it makes people laugh. =) Yes, feel totlly better now, the tea was amazing, as were the assorted smells, and of course, chinese snackie really made it all better. =) If you are in the neighborhood, we can grab some any time ! =)
